Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Our association was established at St. David's Parish, Maple, Ontario in 2007 with a total number of 76 consecrated members. The mission of The Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is to serve God and promote the Roman Catholic Faith and its practice through parish missions, spiritual exercises, Eucharistic Worship and ministering to the local Church and its clergy. Its members are called to a renewed spirit of prayer, with particular importance attached to the recitation of the Holy Rosary; a sacramental life, specifically the participation in the Sacraments of the Eucharist, Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration; a true devotion to Our Lady and the consecration to Her Immaculate Heart; to spread and defend the truths of faith; to be faithful to our Holy Father, the Bishops and obedient to the magisterium of the Church. The Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary expresses itself through all vocations and states of life represented within the Church (priesthood, consecrated life, laity) taking inspiration from the charism foundation of our founders, The Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a religious order stationed in Rome, Italy. Our activities are inclusive of - observance of the First Friday and First Saturday of the month - meditative rosary on the 13th of each month - catechesis the 1st Tuesday of each month - spiritual retreats twice annually in the fall and spring.
